During the 1931-32 season, he lost his place for two long spells but the following campaign he again featured in most of our competitive games. After initially being allowed to leave in the summer of 1933, he was re-signed in late August after several injuries, and he featured a further five times during the autumn months before leaving the club again in the New Year.
