Danny Diver

Biography

Danny was signed from Stranraer for £15,000 in September 1993, the Paisley born striker having only made one appearance for them off the bench that season in their first four league games. He started well at Gayfield, scoring a goal on his debut and becoming our top goal scorer during the 1993-94 campaign. Towards the end of February he made a transfer request, citing Jocky Scott’s decision that all players train in Arbroath and he was sold to Alloa Athletic the following month for £12,000.
