Biography
Eric was initially signed in January 1980 and was our backup keeper until he was given a run of games during the 1980-81 season, but he dropped out the team in late January and was released at the end of the campaign. Nearly six years after leaving the club he re-joined on loan from Brechin City in March 1987 and was our regular keeper for the remainder of the 1986-87 season. After another eight years away from Gayfield, Eric yet again appeared for the club in March 1995 as a trialist with Gordon Dunn on holiday and Derek Jackson injured, leaving us without a regular goalkeeper.
