Willie Watters

Biography

After struggling to find the net during the early parts of the 1995-96 season, John Brogan signed Willie from Alloa Athletic for £15,000 in November 1995. He spent just under a year at Gayfield and despite scoring goals almost everywhere he went, Willie struggled to find the net consistently while an Arbroath player and he was sold to Albion Rovers in late October 1996 alongside Lee Gardner in a deal which saw John Gallagher return to Gayfield.
