Brian Welsh

Biography

Brian was signed from Rutherglen Glencairn by John Brogan in mid-December 1995 having featured as a trialist several months prior. He spent 15 months at Gayfield, but he struggled for regular game time with the majority of his 16 appearances coming as a substitute and new manager Tommy Campbell allowed him to leave on a free in March 1997. After returning junior for a spell, Brian had two successful trial matches with Cowdenbeath in November 1997 and he went on to sign with the Central Park side.
