Biography

Tom left Dundee Utd in the summer of 1994 and featured as a trialist for Alloa Athletic in mid-August before two trial appearances in October 1994 for ourselves impressed manager George Mackie enough to sign him up. He was a regular in our back line for the rest of the 1994-95 season and he started off the following campaign as he left off, but he suffered a bad knee injury in September 1995 which kept him out for nearly eight months. He returned towards the end of the campaign and appeared early in the 1996-97 season but recurring difficulties with his knee meant he was unable to play further, and he was forced to retire from playing later that year.
