Dougie Hope

Biography

Dougie was signed from East Fife for £7000 in January 1997 by Tommy Campbell and he was a regular starter in the team for the rest of the 1996-97 campaign. After Campbell’s departure and the appointment of Dave Baikie, Dougie was put on the transfer list at his own request and after a further six months with the club but out of the squad, he was released on a free in January 1998. Dougie went on to play for Linlithgow Rose, Whitehill Welfare and Penicuik Athletic.
