Willie Rae

Biography

Willie played for our reserves and first featured in a Northern League match towards the end of the 1891-92 season against Aberdeen. He established himself as a half back in the team and his superb long throw was hugely beneficial when attacking. He became captain during the 1893-94 season and was also selected to represent Forfarshire. He featured in two friendlies near the start of the following campaign before his time playing for the first team came to an end.
