Biography

Craig spent three years with Hibs as a youth before trialling with hometown team Brechin City prior to signing for ourselves in October 1997. He would stay at Gayfield until the end of the 2001-02 campaign, spending his time at the club competing for the number one shirt with Craig Hinchcliffe. Due to Hinchy’s form, Craig spent regular spells as our backup keeper but always pushed Hinchy hard and he had several runs in the team during his time at the club.

In August 2007, John McGlashan brought Craig back to the club and he was our first-choice keeper for the first half of the 2007-08 season before losing his place in early January 2008 after a 5-0 defeat to Montrose and leaving the club later that month. He featured for East Fife and Cowdenbeath after leaving Gayfield before retiring from playing to fully focus on coaching.
