Biography
Rab was brought in to the club by Dick Campbell as a backup goalkeeper/ goalkeeping coach in mid-October 2016 and he initially spent several months at Gayfield, making one appearance on the bench, before leaving in mid-January 2017. He returned two months later after Cammy Gill had been re-called from his loan spell at Gayfield by Dunfermline Athletic, and he remained at the club throughout the 2017-18 campaign, making one appearance in a league game away to Queen’s Park at Hampden in November. He retired from playing that summer and continued in his coaching role, as well as appearing a couple of further times on the bench as an emergency backup, up until he left the club alongside Dick Campbell in late November 2023.
