Biography
Jim was signed from Airdrieonians in early October 1965, and he went straight into the team, making his debut against Cowdenbeath in a Division Two game. He was our regular keeper for the rest of the 1965-66 campaign, playing every league game bar one. The game he didn’t play, a home game to Cowdenbeath, saw Jim Williamson come in as a trialist, and he was signed up a few weeks later. After being displaced by Williamson for the 1966-67 season, Jim stayed at the club as our backup keeper until mid-November when he was sold to Stenhousemuir.
