Biography

Walter was signed in mid-June 1962 after his release by Falkirk, the former Brockville man immediately slotting into our back line in the right back position. Once fit, he regained his place and continued as our regular right back up until the end of the 1967-68 season, which saw the club win promotion to the top division, Walter playing in all but four games. During the 1968-69 campaign, a mix of injuries and the form of Jimmy Booth saw Walter make only five appearances, and at the end of the season he was given a free transfer.
