Biography

Billy was provisionally signed from Banks O’ Dee in early January 1958, being called up the following month to make his debut in a Division Two game against Stenhousemuir during which he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win. Over the next calendar year, Billy featured intermittently in our various positions within the front line, prior to being called up for his National Service in spring 1959, which saw him make no appearances for the team for over two years.

On his return for the 1961-62 campaign, he made three appearances early on but after dropping out of the team he was allowed to leave on a free in early November, going on to sign for Highland League side Keith shortly after his release.
