Biography

George was signed in early June 1954 after being given a free transfer by Dundee United at the end of the 1953-54 campaign. He spent two seasons at Gayfield, spending most of his time at the club as our regular outside left before falling out of favour in the second half of the 1955-56 season. With new signing Ronnie Sharp being preferred on the left wing, George was allowed to leave the club on a free at the end of the campaign.
