Ernie Till

Biography

Ernie spent 13 years with Raith Rovers prior to being signed from the Starks Park club in November 1951 and he was a regular in either wing half position for the rest of the 1951-52 campaign, missing just one game when bedridden with flu in early February 1952. The following season he played in the five League Cup Group games but then dropped out the team with Willie Box and George Grant the preferred wing halves. After two months with no first team appearances, he moved on to join Leith Athletic in early November 1952.
