Willie Aitken

Biography

Willie was signed in mid-January 1948 in a swap deal which saw Ken Esplin move to Dunfermline Athletic, the forward having previously played under manager Arch Anderson while at Blantyre Vics. He was a regular in our front line up until the end of the 1947-48 campaign when he was given a free transfer, going on to join Derry City later that summer.
