Biography

Willie was signed from Fauldhouse Utd in early October 1946, the veteran centre half having played for and captained Junior Scotland. He slotted into the team and missed just three games before the end of the 1946-47 campaign and he started the following season as our regular centre half before dropping out the team in mid-October in favour of Sam English and then John Patience. He made three further appearances in December before being given a free transfer by mutual consent in February 1948.
