Albert Kidd

Biography

Albert was signed by Albert Henderson in August 1977 from Brechin City, a fee of £10,000 being paid to the Glebe Park club for the Dundonian. In his first season at the club, he played in every competitive game, putting in some hugely impressive performances, and in his second campaign he continued to impress and feature in the starting 11 when available. In October 1979 he made a transfer request, citing a want to play full time football and two months later, just prior to Christmas, he was sold to Motherwell alongside Joe Carson for a fee of £100,000.
