Biography
Charlie was in June 1980 by Ian Stewart; the defender having been released by Montrose the previous month. He initially featured regularly in central defence but after dropping out of the team in mid-September he failed to regain his place and he was allowed to leave the club in December and join junior team Kirriemuir Thistle.
