Derek Hyslop

Derek was signed by Ian Stewart from Clyde in late-October 1980 for a fee of £5000, and he was a regular in our front line during the 1980-81 season before spending more time playing in midfield in his second campaign, partly due to the signing of Dougie Robb. After falling out of the team, he was sold to Cowdenbeath alongside Lindsay Kydd in a swap deal which saw Billy Steele move to Gayfield.
