Brian Docherty

Biography

Brian was signed in June 1980 by Ian Stewart after his release from St. Mirren and he spent three seasons at Gayfield and was a regular fixture in the team for most of his time at the club, although he missed patches of the 1982-83 campaign due to injury. At the end of that season, he left the club and retired from playing professional football due to his new job in the police making him unable to do so.
