Rod Brown

Biography

Rod was signed from Brechin City in September 1984 by George Fleming in a swap deal which saw Dougie Lees move to the Glebe Park side. He was a regular in our front line for his first six months at Gayfield before the appointment of Jimmy Bone in mid-February saw him only appear once further as a substitute and he was given a free transfer by Bone at the end of the campaign. Within a few weeks of his release, he was appointed player/ manager at Brechin Victoria, where he had previously been a player.
