David Burnside

Biography

David, who was previously been on Brechin City’s books during the early 1980s, was signed from Kinnoull in July 1987 by John Young. He played fairly regularly during the 1987-88 season but found himself often used from the bench and he struggled to nail down a regular place in the team, being used in a variety of positions. At the end of the campaign he was allowed to leave on a free transfer, and he returned to Kinnoull.
