George Hill

George featured as a trialist in a league game at home to Dundee in mid-February 1940 with his performance helping us to a 3-1 win and seeing the Dens Park side sign him up from Dundee North End just days after the game. He would go on to spend over a decade at Dundee, making another appearance in maroon in Bob McGlashan’s testimonial against Aberdeen in mid-September 1945, before a spell with East Fife prior to becoming the manager of Montrose in 1956.
