Biography

David started with Alva Albion Rangers before being signed by Rochdale where he spent a year before returning to Scotland and spending several seasons with Stenhousemuir and then Falkirk where we signed him from in late November 1936. After being given a run of games up until the New Year he dropped out the team with only three further appearances in April. That summer he was transfer listed and didn't feature at all before joining Stenhousemuir on loan in December 1937. His time in Larbert was a success, and he came back into the team during the 1938-39 season, making eight further appearances for the club during the campaign as well as featuring for the reserve team. He went on to join Dumbarton in the summer of 1939 ahead of the 1939-40 season.
