Biography
Tommy, who was picked up by Celtic from Blantyre Celtic in November 1935, signed on loan in early October 1936 after Dave Cumming's sale to Middlesbrough. He was our regular ‘keeper through October and November before picking up an injury. His replacement, Peter Robertson, kept his place in the team upon Tommy’s return and he only featured twice further for the club in Forfarshire Cup ties towards the end of the campaign. He was released by Celtic upon his return to Parkhead and he went on to play for Rochdale and Stockport County prior to the outbreak of WW2.
