Biography

Michael was signed from Glasgow Perthshire in early June 1936, and he started off the 1936-37 season as a regular in the team at inside right up until February when he dropped out the team due to appendicitis which required an operation and saw him miss the rest of the campaign. He started the following season in the team, but he lost his place in late autumn and only featured on three further occasions after New Year. He left the club that summer and had a spell with Derry City before rejoining the club in January 1939 and playing for our reserves for the rest of the season. He had a brief spell with East Stirlingshire the following season prior to the outbreak of WW2.
