Biography
Harry started out playing army football during WW1 before a spell with Lochee Central prior to Dundee signing him up in August 1923. He spent the 1923-24 season at Dens Park, featured several times towards the end of the campaign before leaving the club that summer and being signed up in late July.
He started the 1924-25 season as our regular goalkeeper but after a poor run during which he conceded 11 goals in 3 games, Sandy Stewart was signed and displaced him, and he didn’t make any further appearances and left the club at the end of the campaign.
He went on to sign for Forfar Athletic in August 1924 before spending several years with East Stirlingshire. Dundee Utd signed him from the Firs Park side and after a successful period at Tannadice he had spells with Alloa Athletic and Forfar Athletic.
