Timeline
-
Debut - Montrose 3 - 0 Arbroath
Arbroath made the short journey up the east coast to face local rivals Montrose for the first time of the new season.
-
First Goal - Berwick Rangers 2 - 2 Arbroath
The Lichties travelled down to England to face Colin Cameron’s Berwick Rangers. It was a beautiful sunny warm day, but there was a Gayfield esq wind blowing around the exposed pitch. A loyal band of about 30 Lichties made the trip to cheer on their team and with the Berwick Supporters Trust initiative to allow free entry there was a healthy crowd of 721 waiting to be entertained.
-
Last Goal - Arbroath 2 - 3 Elgin City
The Lichties returned to Gayfield for the first home match in 2016 and despite the torrential rain that had battered the town throughout the week the Gayfield pitch was looking in fantastic shape.
-
Last Appearance - Arbroath 0 - 0 Montrose
Arbroath and Montrose cancelled each other out in a goal-less Scottish League Two draw at Gayfield.
