Biography

Willie played for Arbroath Amateurs and was signed by us in January 1912 after regular ‘keeper George Scott became ill. He featured in most of our games up until the end of the season before playing solely for the Amateurs the following campaign. He was then signed up as a second choice ‘keeper throughout the 1913-14 season and he made a further two competitive appearances.

Willie’s father, also William, featured for the club as a forward during the 1880s.
