Match Report
Alan Brazil scored the only goal of the game as Arbroath stole the points at East Stirlingshire.
Shire were better in the opening stages but struggled to create clear-cut scoring opportunities.
They paid the price when Brazil latched onto a long ball from his own half to shoot low past goalkeeper Greg Mitchell five minutes form the break.
Arbroath's Barry Sellars missed an open goal to double the lead, while Andy Rodgers was hit the post for Shire.
