Match Report

Arbroath are closing in on a Third Division play-off spot after beating 10-man Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill.

Chris Hughes went close for Albion with a header before the hosts were reduced to 10 men when John Gemmell was sent off after clashing with Paul Watson.

Abroath took the lead after 73 minutes when Barry Sellars fired a wonderful free-kick into the net.

The visitors doubled their lead three minutes from time when Scott McBride collected Sellars' pass to fire home.
